Senior Production Manager

London

In this brand new role, the Senior Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production management of the ever-growing digital slate across the eOne / Hasbro family brand portfolio. The role will focus on the organizational, budgetary and administrative leadership of multiple animated and live action series for YouTube and AVOD.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with Producers to set up new projects, generating budgets and schedules, and recommending organizational and pipeline best practices to ensure smooth delivery of series; able to identify issues or areas of improvement across pipelines, pro-actively suggesting improvements; exercising judgement on when to involve Director and other stakeholders.
Leading the production management function, responsible for delivering a consistent pipeline of top-quality content on time and on budget in partnership with Producers; Line managing two Production Coordinators as the senior member of the production management function; Delegating where appropriate whilst empowering team to work directly with Producers on their series responsibilities; acting as a sounding board for any issues or questions that arise.
Develop and refine YouTube and AVOD processes with distribution and content sales teams, with a particular focus on developing a new AVOD deliveries process; working together with the Production and Post teams to ensure content is delivered in a timely manner with all necessary metadata, artwork etc provided.
Overseeing production documentation, working with Coordinators to ensure documents are up to date; working with legal to develop production agreements and contracts; making sure all content is catalogued correctly, costs are logged, and videos are scheduled for release; monitoring spend on Tier 2 and Tier 3 productions in partnership with Producers and Coordinators, reporting spend to Director on a monthly basis; working with producers to adapt and revise budgets and schedules as production develops, flagging any issues to Director and relevant stakeholders; dealing with any enquiries or issues quickly and confidently.
Acting as the interface between the Production and Post teams, liaising with Producers and Snr Editor to ensure post in scheduled effectively and problem solving any scheduling issues; leading weekly Production and Post scheduling and prioritization meetings.
Playing a key role in team communications and stakeholder management; representing the function at meetings, both internal and external; owning relationships with BLA and finance teams in partnership with Director; owning relationships with providers in partnership with Producers; able to confidently update on project status.
Key Competencies:

Strong experience in production management for digital platforms or social media; experience in agile methodologies a plus; experience with project management systems a plus
Able to manage multiple projects and people with precision
A passion for kids' brands and for storytelling
Some team management experience - able to win the trust of more junior team members and manage effectively
