Senior Production Manager

London / Remote

LADstudios forms part of LADbible Group's growing commercial offering to clients and partners. It creates broadcast ready original series and formats and is in discussions with broadcasters looking to create digital and platform first content. LADstudios also works alongside LADbible Group's in-house content marketing specialist Joyride, creating social-first branded entertainment opportunities to clients and their agencies, as well as excellent sponsored formats to rival traditional television offerings, for use right across its social channels and beyond.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and solution focused individual who will be integral to the Studios Commercial team, working across all commercial, original, marketing and social video projects across the LADbible portfolio of brands and channels. Being able to multitask, hit tight turnaround deadlines and meet budgets are fundamental skills within this role. Our ideal candidate will have worked across a wealth of long and short form branded video & stills campaigns, working with a variety of brands providing production solutions for nimble lightweight shoots to large scale multi camera productions. They will have a strong understanding of all the processes and workflows required in producing branded content, with a focus on finance, logistics and legal management.

What will you be doing?

Supporting the Exec Producer and HOP in leading a team of Production Coordinators leading by example and championing best practises, helping to streamline processes and workflows with a practical and level head
Drawing up & managing detailed video production schedules & budgets in presale for all RFP's, working alongside Producers as well as interdepartmental media, creative, account management & sales teams to provide flexible, nimble solutions, streamlined workflows and best practises for all tiers of production for our Clients KPI's
Participating in calls/meetings with internal and external stakeholders where concepts and pitches are discussed and developed. Leading with a positive and solution focused attitude, providing alternative proposals as campaigns evolve and develop
Negotiating costs with suppliers, crews and contractors and supporting the production team in seeking out new talent and ensuring a diverse crew and workforce
Supporting Producers in organising allocation of resource and personnel pre, during and post shoot
Working with insurance companies pro-actively reporting and documenting all necessary risk management & documentation for all shoots, responding and reacting to changes in guidelines & processes as demanded by Covid ensuring that the safety of crew, talent, contributors & Clients is paramount
Working with the Producers to ensure all Campaigns are brought in on budget and on schedule, providing solutions with a positive can do attitude
Supporting the Exec Producer, HOP & Finance team in the financial management and reconciliation of all commercial campaigns
Ensuring that all campaigns from conception through to delivery are legally compliant
Managing all Campaign legal paperwork, processing all 3rd party commercial agreements, licences and compliance
Supporting the Post Production Traffic Manager ensuring that all post production schedules are maintained and communicated with all necessary parties

Who we're looking for

You will have a familiarity with all tiers of production, cameras and post production tools with demonstrable experience in hands-on shooting
Experience as a PM at a production company or publisher
You must be comfortable working across several video formats (animated, original, live and social).
You should be well connected in the industry and already have a healthy talent network or freelance or Camera Ops, DIT's AC's Soundies & runners etc.
Proficiency in building entire scope of production docs is essential, including, call sheets, schedules, Risk Assessments and P&L
Demonstrable working exposure and knowledge of video pre-production, production and post-production, including workflows and processes, equipment and software programs/tools
Professional level understanding of Microsoft Office suite or comparable industry standard software, with particular expertise in Excel, Word and G-Suite/Office 365
Health and Safety course preferable but not necessary
