Gutsy Animations UK is recruiting a Senior Production Manager to work on a new series of its popular Sky One commission Moominvalley. The Senior Production Manager role is integral to the smooth running of our busy and creative studio. This is a full-time fixed term position and will appeal to anyone who wants to progress their career in an energetic, high-quality studio environment.

Key responsibilities:
• Managing the production schedule and ensuring all deadlines are met
• Working closely with the Directors, including scheduling their time daily
• Managing the relationship with external animation studios, ensuring assets are delivered and received on a timely basis
• Managing quotes, workflows, scheduling and deliveries across all aspects of post-production
• Attending grades and online sessions and ensuring the episodes meet all delivery requirements
• Shared responsibility for resourcing the production and working closely with the Producer to interview and hire
• Scheduling and managing weekly production meetings

Required skills and experience:
• Must have animation Production Manager credit
• Excellent understanding of the CG series pipeline
• Experience in long form tv series animation production
• Experience working with overseas animation studios
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure

The role will be based in Long Ashton, Bristol until September 2019 prior to moving with the rest of the studio into new premises (currently anticipated to be based in central Bristol).
