WHAT'S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

You will be responsible for setting the agenda for the production and creation of exciting live and non-live, short and long-form programming for DAZN Canada. The live events will require varying levels of production ranging from local commentary to bespoke match production.

You will oversee all Canadian verbal and written content including game highlights, sports documentary and weekly magazine style programming. Working closely with Head of Production, you will manage all creative assets for both on and off platform marketing.

You'll be involved in every stage of the production and broadcasting process including organising, preparing and producing long and short form football programmes, to guidance of the team working in a live production environment including but not exclusive to European and world football, basketball and hockey.
The Head of Production will look to you to have a vision of how to conceptualise create world-class production output consistently in a well-organised professional team environment.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?

Responsible for the operational output across all Canadian production areas within market
Establish, assess and uphold high quality production values across all Canadian output
Manage the Canadian Programming operations team to ensure the organisational areas around the live output, maintains communication with central production unit and internal staff to ensure smooth production and delivery
Be a pivotal relationship builder to ensure all communication between staff members and other business units remains fluid and collaborative
Train and mentor direct reports and wider team where appropriate

DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?
Proven experience of producing live and non-live TV programmes (min 7 years)
Excellent knowledge of North American sports including NFL and an interest in all sport
Line management and team leadership experience
Knowledge of global data sporting feeds and OTT platform

DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?

Understanding of the technical processes involved in Live Sports broadcasting and program production (short and long form)
Knowledge of cost management
Experience and understanding of highly informed and mature Canadian sports fans and audiences
French and Spanish language skills
