ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Producer has overall responsibility for the production team consisting of around 6 production staff members as well as trusted freelance personnel. This also involves assisting our Producer/Directors with script development and pre-production on projects, and overseeing our QC process for final delivery to clients. Our in-house Producer/Directors report to the Senior Producer, and the Senior Producer reports to the MD/Exec. Producer.

The role has a commercial aspect including the handling of inbound new enquiries from web forms, email and phone calls. We have strong inbound and outbound new business pipelines at Slinky - so you will not be expected to go out and find new leads. You will be required to help process, qualify and turn the most suitable leads/projects in to green light commissions.

Assisting the Managing Director with business development strategies is also part of this position. Negotiating with high level senior leaders and company owners is a key part of this role and experience of budgeting for video production is crucial. This position is based both in the office and occasionally on location shoots (as required) and is essential in the project management, delivery and professionalism of the company.
