POSITION: Senior-Level Video Producer
SALARY: Flexible, dependent on experience

We are looking for a Video Producer to join the small but fast-paced Moving Image Department of a leading creative agency based in London.

This is a great opportunity for a video producer, with at least 8+ years' experience, to join an award-winning company, dedicated to creating extraordinary live events and digital experiences.

THE COMPANY

The Moving Image Team is made up of 8 members, led by the Head of Video Production and includes Creative, Production, Support and Post-Production roles, supported by freelance resource on a project by project basis.

Projects are an interesting mix of content from film style shoots for high end clients, to corporate comms, social media campaigns, animation and multicamera events and streaming.

Clients cover a broad mix of genres including; digital, PR, TV, online, automotive, pharma and technology meaning every week is interesting and different.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a busy, fast-paced environment as well as a variety of projects in conjunction with tight timelines.
• Responsible for own projects including production of content, managing client relationships, seeking new business opportunities, developing and delivering creative responses to briefs in pitch / tender scenarios, managing all aspects of project delivery to cost, time and quality standards and supporting other members of the team as required.
• Receive briefs directly from clients and internal teams (both existing accounts and new business) and translate these into creative, executable plans.
• Overall responsibility for the end to end delivery of projects.
• Management of all aspects of content creation including pre-production, on-location production and overseeing post-production with the post production manager.
• Build strong working relationships with in-house staff and freelancers and work with them to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.
• Create and manage budgets including taking accountability for maximising profit margins.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients and the client services team ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Identify and develop opportunities for new business from existing clients.
• Own, manage and develop responses to pitches.
• Research and implement new technologies, trends, developments etc to ensure the agency is at the cutting edge of the market.
• Make recommendations for improvements to existing processes and/or new ways of working more efficiently.
• Complete all related administrative tasks accurately and on time.
• Any other duties requested by the Head of Video commensurate with the role.



KEY SKILLS

• Previous corporate, event and / or TV experience at Producer level.
• A sound and broad understanding of all aspects of video production with the ability to brief and manage others effectively to produce high quality results.
• Ability to build a narrative and creative solutions to meet the clients' needs and budget.
• A good technical knowledge of available industry equipment, its uses and limitations to ensure high quality and creative content is produced in response to each brief.
• Experience in managing smaller stand-alone animation and motion graphics projects is desirable.
• Experience in working on location and giving on-set instruction and direction to cast and crew.
• Experience of account managing clients.
• Experience of creating and presenting pitch presentations.
• Experience of working on projects of various levels and with varying sized teams.
• Positive leadership skills, with proven ability to successfully manage direct reports and third-party suppliers.
• Excellent project management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets.
• Resilient under pressure with the ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
• Proactive and willing to take on more responsibility as and when needed.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Flexibility to work longer hours including some evenings and weekends when necessary.
• Able to travel to 2nd office in Hertford when necessary.
