We are looking for a Senior-Level Video Editor to join an advertising content agency based in Central London.This is a great opportunity for a video editor, with ideally 5+ years' experience and motion graphics knowledge, to work within a growing team across branded and entertainment content, promos, trailers and TVCs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Directors, Producers and creative teams to interpret ideas and offer concepts and solutions to create first class content.• Demonstrate a constant development of skills and exploration of new techniques to implement within the company.• Work with the Operations Director and Post Production Manager to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the department.• Oversee the output of freelance and junior editors to ensure the highest quality output is maintained across the department.• Manage, develop and train the junior members of the department; taking responsibility for their creative output and workflows.• Build a strong relationship with the LA office; develop a full understanding of the team, their processes and seamlessly work with them as required.• Constantly look to improve methods and way of working.• Work closely with Producers to ensure projects stay on schedule and in budget.• Lead presentations and reviews to clients, facilitating feedback and amends when necessary.• Ensure CI guidelines are understood and adhered to and are consistently maintained for each client.• Analyse all delivery specs, ensuring all projects are delivered to exemplary standards.• Archive all projects, rushes and raw footage and help to enforce media management across the department.KEY SKILLS• Extensive showreel of commercial editing, including both creative offline and technical finishing.• Innovative and creatively minded.• Excellent knowledge of Premiere Pro and all Mac based Adobe CC products.• Excellent knowledge of After Effects would be a bonus.• Good knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.• A solid understanding of end-to-end post production workflow and excellent technical knowledge.• Experience of offline and online editing and colour grading for final deliverables.• Good knowledge of audio both VO recording and sound design, full understanding of codecs and complex delivery.• Confident creating deliverables for external finishing.• Understanding of usage and clearance requirements for music, images and footage.• A good knowledge of industry standard cameras and associated production techniques.If you're interested in this position, please apply via ProductionBase by sending a copy of your CV and showreelUnfortunately, we are unable to respond to unsuccessful applicants so if you haven't heard from us 7 days after sending your application, please assume that we are unable to progress your application any further.
