Back2Back Productions are looking to recruit a Senior Avid Edit Assistant. The successful candidate will be primarily doing conforms, working across the online, grade and dubbing suites, but also assisting in junior editing tasks and helping the development team with cutting promos, all at one of Brighton's leading independent production companies.



ABOUT YOU

You should have:

A sound understanding of the principles of TV and film post production technology.

A good knowledge and understanding of current broadcast standards, codecs and workflows

A positive and flexible approach with an ability to think independently in resolving issues

A confident, creative instinct as well as a technical eye

A good knowledge of the Avid Media Composer/Symphony environment - experience of DaVinci Resolve and After Effects is an advantage

Good IT skills

An ability to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines



THE ROLE

You would be:

Preparing conforms and deliverables for the online, grade and audio suites

Providing support for technical issues and general ad-hoc troubleshooting in the post production department

Liaising with production staff to ensure smooth running of edits

Working to daytime shift patterns at our facility in Brighton


The salary will be competitive, based on experience.
