Job Title: Senior Creative Producer (Pending Experience)

Job Purpose:Responsible for all aspects of Promo, VT and Event production in the Creative Department,
Interpreting creative requests through to budgeting, approval, production, and post and TX delivery.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities

• Highly organised, including own time management, admin associated with production and shoots as well as organisation around
booking locations, crews, studio's and kit.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of Production, Post-Production, creative techniques and processes.
• Experience in self shooting projects and camera operating, lighting and sound.
• Pre-production advice for shoots and post production to provide cost effective solutions for creative projects.
• Producing ad-hoc projects based on company and new business requirements.
• Acting as a creative lead within the creative Producer team, providing additional support and advice to more junior members.
• Good understanding of the business, best practice procedures and workflow.
• Understand and interpret creative requests, ensuring communications with Creative Services Manager and Executive Producer are in
place throughout the whole process.
• Make sure adequate planning is given when producing scripts, storyboards, treatments and proposals to enable efficient project
management.
• Manage and scope out budgets for projects, including shoots, production requirements and post.
• Working closely with the Creative Services Manager and the Executive Producer on approved budget & update internal budget
documents.
• To brief relevant departments on post production requirements, including Photography, Graphic Design and Editing so they can
complete projects to brief, budget and schedule.
• Communicating all technical and logistical needs to the Technical Operation departments as early as possible.
• To be responsible for understanding and exercising creative flair to ensure that channel branding,
Identity and motto is retained.
• Script writing for promos, VT's and other creative material.
• To direct crew and presenters/models in all aspects of shoots.
• Working closely with the Creative Services Manager and VT Supervisor to successfully project-manage & prioritise workload to
ensure that all production schedules are clearly defined, and adhered to in advance of delivery dates.
• When required, assist other Creative Producers to plan, conceive and shoot projects.
• Assisting in the development of trainee/junior staff using regular review and feedback sessions to
progress individuals and keep Creative Services Manager updated on progress.
• Responsible for understanding and implementing Health & Safety issues, and Risk Assessments for
every shoot.
• Awareness and understanding of ASA compliance issues and boundaries, investigating alternative to allow the selling message to be
fulfilled in a 'safe' manner
• To identify their own training needs and liaise with VT Supervisor to gain more experience
where needed.
• Attend meetings both interdepartmental and with external clients, representing the department and
company in a professional manner.
