Senior Casting Co-Ordinator

An exciting opportunity to work in fresh and vibrant company based inside the world-famous Pinewood Studios. Uni-versal Extras are a highly successful Extras casting agency. We have supplied extras, walk-ons, background and supporting artists for TV, Film, and Commercials for over ten years.

• Working hours: Rotating shifts: Early Shift - 06:45-15:45, Middle Shift - 10:00-19:00, Late Shift 13:00 - 22:00 (weekly rota)
• Please only apply if your commute to Pinewood Film Studios, Iver is less than 45 minutes

The Role:

As Senior Casting Co-ordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient co-ordination of administrative duties around ensuring artistes arrive on set correctly. You will be responsible for supporting Casting Agents, through liaising with clients and artistes, and overseeing a small team of Casting Co-ordinators who you will be delegating to daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Casting Agents have the appropriate levels of available, qualified Extras to fulfil all production roles in a timely and accurate fashion.
• To coordinate TV and film projects involving the checking and booking of Supporting Artists/Extras.
• Coordinate the Booking Team to ensure that they are working effectively to achieve the project briefs and casting targets that have been set by the Casting Agents.
• You will be the first point of call for any training requirements or questions from the Booking Agents.
• Assist Casting Agents in coordinating TV, film, commercials, photo shoots, music and corporate video projects by casting and booking Supporting Artists.
• Occasionally liaising with production clients and reporting to the Head of Casting and Management.
• You will be able to take a brief at speed and have a strong sense of what 'look' a Casting Agent/client requires.
• Be responsible for the visual interpretation of brief and production details, a good eye for a face/body is critical.
• Work with Booking team to ensure our Extras continue our market leading availability and professionalism.
• Ensure the company's mission, products & services are presented consistently and positively to relevant stakeholders - especially Extras and AD's.
• Ensure all products, channels and activities are performing to maximum efficiency and capital return through hourly performance report analysis and weekly reporting to management team.
• Create, analyse and distribute appropriate levels of reporting on Booking Team performance, ensuring ongoing efficiency gains.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Lead Admin process - ensuring all levels of admin are completed in a timely & accurate manner for all elements of Booking process, especially focusing on Excel & Booking forms
• Assist Casting Team (Booking Agents, Junior Booking Agents) to perform in line with business objectives & requirements.
• Taking incoming calls about productions / field questions from extras
• Escalation point for booking enquiries - ensure Casting Agent is aware of key issues in a timely fashion.
• Advance deadline management - driving team performance by ensuring Bookers are on target & on time
• Deliver performance targets for productions - availability calls, time on call, SMS Campaigns, etc
• Provide Casting support to the casting agent as required.
• Direct & manage Booking Campaigns - owning Holding numbers / targets / Availability calls, SMS, etc when required

Personal Requirements:

• Proven senior administration/co-ordinator or other relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
• Excellent listening and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Bachelor's Degree ideal but not necessary
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
• Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time and project management skills. Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
