You will be joining a young and highly creative team, in one of the country's fastest growing online media entertainment brands.ABOUT FUBAR RADIORadio may be in our name but it's not entirely in our nature. FUBAR creates live and on-demand radio but combined with social media video content, derived from live studio cameras, location shoots and social content, which often goes viral. WE ARE NOT A MUSIC RADIO STATIONOur DNA is also completely different from all other national radio stations. We don't have boring commercial breaks. When we do play music, it's heard in the way it's downloaded - so none of the insipid radio versions. We also avoid regulation from the industry watchdog. So, if our acronym hadn't given you a clue - it means that we can afford to be more mischievous, edgy and often post watershed in our content.Now in our fourth year, FUBAR is an acclaimed and established national broadcast platform with a combined monthly audience reach of 7.5 million.FUBAR has created programming with some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Ed Sheeran and his collaborator Mikill Pane, Doc Brown (Ricky Gervais co-star) Noel Clarke (Kidulthood, Brotherhood) Richard Herring, Gillian Anderson, Rufus Hound, Rizzle Kicks, BBC's Andy Parsons, Katie Price, Mark Dolan, Armando Iannucci, Stephen Merchant, stand-up comedy performer and podcast king Ian Boldsworth (Peacock and Gamble),social media influencers, Hannah Witton, JaackMaate and Jahannah James, as well as a wealth of other celebrity, comedy, sport, reality television and YouTube stars. THE ROLEYou'll be working within our social media department and alongside our production team. You will be performing an important role in delivering high quality video and infographic output with technical, operational and artistic input. This role is suitable for someone with experience in directing, shooting and editing. You should have experience in all three.Where training is necessary it will be provided by highly experienced and award winning broadcast television producers.In brief:• Leading the production of highly shareable video content for social media distribution. • Monitoring breaking and trending news in order to generate original footage or re-purpose short clips to be pushed out across FUBAR Radio and FUBAR FC (football) social media channels.• Contribution in daily editorial meetings, conjuring ways to cover the day's news in engaging visual ways.• Production of at least 3 original or re-purposed social media videos - to include sports, politics, trending topics, music and entertainment - per day to be distributed across FUBAR's growing social media channels.• Setting up studio camera positions and working with producers to ensure talent are positioned correctly for optimum quality of output during live programmes.• Occasional working in studio gallery to vision mix multi-camera feeds (we currently use Snappy TV, but training given)• Assisting the team's producers and social media manager in sourcing prime editorial highlights packages and social media clips.• Post production, including editing audio and video footage, inserting captions, subtitling and preparing for upload to social media channels; experience of software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier is a MUST.• A competency in InDesign and Adobe Photoshop will be an advantage. The right candidate will be expected to produce engaging infographics across sport, entertainment, showbiz and music. Excellent grasp of graphics and effects within editing software will be important.• Preparation and re-sizing of images to be used on social media channels.• An interest and passion for football is highly preferable but not essential. You will be expected to work on a flexible basis and sometimes long and unsociable hours hours. Normally 10 to 6 weekdays.The role is based at our offices in Islington, London (2 mins walk from Caledonian Road Tube).
