HAT TRICK MERCURIO are looking for a Script Intern for 4 days a week on a 3-month fixed term contract. Please note, this is a role which would be working from home - with very occasional catch ups in person/zoom.

Main responsibilities would include reading scripts and books, providing coverage and assisting the development assistant in polishing treatments and proofreading scripts. Occasionally there might be other tasks such as providing script notes or undertaking some research.
The hours of this job will be incredibly flexible, and the intern can undertake the work at a time that suits them - all scripts will have a maximum of a week turnaround time.

This job is for you if you are........
• Eager to enter the TV industry, particularly passionate about scripted drama and keen to pursue a career in scripted television
• Prepared to undertake high volumes of reading as this will be the bulk of the work
• Have a good knowledge of the British and International TV output
• Are an avid TV watcher
• Ideally have some relevant industry experience in a similar capacity but not essential
• Happy to work independently, without supervision
• Looking for flexibility - 4 days/week - however hours/days are flexible
