This is an excellent opportunity for a digital native to join our team at BBC Children's. You will have an excellent understanding of digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Snapchat.
You will have demonstrable previous experience of making engaging digital content such as GIFs, memes, videos with dynamic text and other short form formats such as Instagram Stories that increase engagement with audiences. You will be a talented self-shooter with the ability to edit, preferably in relation to short form content, and use of smartphones to create digital content types.
You will have strong knowledge of Adobe Creative apps, particularly PhotoShop, Premiere Pro and After Effects, or their equivalents.
You will have excellent writing skills and a passion for audience engagement, with a great understanding of how to effectively communicate with audiences on different social media platforms. An understanding of the BBC Children's parent and pre-teen audiences and their use of social media platforms.
A passion for developing new and innovative content and the ability to translate that passion into your day-to-day work.
