We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Researcher with excellent verbal and written communication skills, to join the team on Hollyoaks. The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to present findings concisely and coherently. The role holder will undertake detailed research on behalf of the story, scripts and production teams. Key responsibilities will include providing up to date information around legislation and regulations, liaising with contacts and charities, coming up with creative solutions to any research problems which may prevent the script and story teams from telling their desired narrative, completing checks and briefing notes for the Script Editors.

Required skills and experience:

Experience of working in a television environment or a related qualification.

Excellent interpersonal skills, using diplomacy and sensitivity when working with writers, producers, actors and other contributors and crew members.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to Producers clearly, concisely and coherently, in writing and verbally.

Ability to work unsupervised and manage a complex workload.
