Researcher

Devon

Twofour in Devon are looking for a researcher for the fifth series of Impossible Engineering which we produce for Discovery's Science Channel (US), Yesterday (UK) and a host of international broadcasters.
We are looking for a researcher with a great specialist factual background, preferably with strong experience in engineering or science programme-making. You'll be confident in your ability to understand often complicated engineering topics and put them across in a simple, easy to understand way to make interesting and informative television. You'll have extensive experience of setting up filming around the world, securing access to unusual places and at tracking down illusive archive, securing it inexpensively. Experience setting up science/engineering demonstrations and language skills would both be a bonus. You will need to have at least 3 Broadcast Researcher credits.
The role is based in our Devon office on the outskirts of Plymouth. Starts in early January for around nine months.
