Researcher Role - Ideal Candidate.
Reports to the Development Producer
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable and passionate about nature & wildlife and has experience either as a scientific researcher, a writer or as a proven TV development researcher in this field.
If you are an analytical thinker, motivated, with a track record in assessing complex information to provide accurate and engaging summaries of research, spotting original stories, and helping to transform them into reality, then we'd love to hear from you.
Other duties include creative thinking and brainstorming. Working independently or as part of a team. Initiating contact and briefing scientists, businesses and contributors alike and maintaining effective relationships in order to develop stories.
Writing, organisational skills, working efficiently and proactively. Sourcing world locations, logistical planning, and with some understanding of the complexities of worldwide filming, production and editing processes.
