Cardiff-based company is seeking an experienced Researcher/Assistant Producer to start work immediately on the hit BBC One consumer series Defenders UK.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience sourcing stories and/or contributors, conducting research chats, writing up detailed briefing notes, booking and scheduling shoots for a fast-turnaround filming schedule. Some experience in consumer journalism and in working with enforcement agencies (eg trading standards) would be desirable. But equally important is the ability to communicate confidently and persuasively over the phone.

An essential part of the role will be archive research, logging and clearing. The successful candidate should be able to identify any clearance issues that may arise, and be able to work to very tight deadlines.

Contract through to mid-July.

Production office is located in Cardiff Bay although we are happy to consider candidates working remotely from home.
