Realtime Technical Artist

London

We're setting up a Realtime department!

We are looking for a highly creative problem solver and technical individual to join our team in London, to help with research and development into real-time technologies.This is an exciting and broad ranging role which would suit someone with strong technical and problem solving skills. You will be working in software such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya, Blender and motion capture hardware.

Key Responsibilities

Development, research & exploration of current and emerging technologies for real-time content production.
Assist with building solid team-based workflows to integrate new software into an existing studio pipeline.
Create Blueprints and develop new tools for rendering workflows in Unreal Engine.
Implementing interactive functionality for existing assets via a range of inputs

Additional Duties

Occasionally contribute to productions in a creative role - ie. assist with scene setup in UE4

Required Skills

Strong technical problem solving skills
Strong understanding of CGI production
Advanced knowledge of general UE4 systems and blueprinting
Obsessively keen interest in real-time systems & VR
Coding skills - Python or C++ would be beneficial
Knowledge of Blender and similar software beneficial

Excellent listening and communication skills, able to receive and act on feedback.
Highly inquisitive & exceptionally motivated to learn and develop.
Super pro-active & autonomous work ethic
Full of ideas and ingenious approach to problem-solving
Interest in emerging technologies

Required Experience

Related degree beneficial but not essential
Demonstratable production experience in an Unreal-based project
