Rapid Pictures and Radiant Post are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic and diligent QC Op to join our growing team. This will initially be a 5 month contract. This QC Operator position will be integral within the Finishing Post team, assisting the online editors and performing thorough QC passes to ensure everything we submit is safe for broadcast.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of Avid edit assisting with at least 3 years' experience.

Key skills include:
- Excellent knowledge of Avid Media Composer and AS-11 creation
- Good knowledge of Vidchecker and its templates
- Thorough knowledge of the DPP delivery guidelines and an aptitude to keep up-to-date with any future revisions. We also complete International versions of many of our client's shows; as these require delivering in many flavours, a comprehensive knowledge of other video codecs and audio standards would be hugely beneficial
- Naturally observant with a keen eye for detail
- Competent at problem solving with excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

We are currently fully booked and need someone that can hit the ground running, working quickly but accurately in order to hit tight deadlines.
It is essential that the candidate has the relevant industry experience and is able to start ASAP. Candidates straight out of university will not be considered.
