The Royal Opera House produces some of the best opera and ballet in the world and is seeking to appoint a full time Prop Maker to join our Props Workshop Team.The successful candidate will manufacture, repair and modify stage props for the performing companies in accordance with requirements and traditions, whilst working to the highest international standards.The successful candidates will have:Degree in Theatrical Art and Design or other relevant qualification.Extensive experience making props to the highest standards for a major theatrical organisation.Team working experience within a complex and busy prop-making Department.Experience realising the artistic ambitions of designers with an international reputation.Demonstrable ability to supervise the making and buying of props.We actively encourage BAME and disabled applicants and value the positive impact that difference has on our teams.Closing Date for receipt of applications: 8:00am, Friday 29th June 2018Applicants must have work authorisation for the UK.
