My name is Joel and I run a small web design company where occasionally I get asked to do videos for my clients. My go-to videographer is not available so I am currently looking around for alternative options.

Basically, I have client who I am doing a website for and he wants to have a short video to go on his homepage. You can view the design of the homepage attached and where the video would sit.

The company 'Room Shuffler' simply works as a platform that allows landlords to advertise rooms and students/young professionals to find rooms. They will both be able to message each other through the platform but that's it, Room Shuffler doesn't get involved with anything else, they just connect people..

The video is meant to show different landmarks of London in a cool and dynamic way (should include cool 'urban' places like Shoreditch, not just touristic areas), but also it is meant to display the process of people going online, finding a room, arranging a viewing, meeting the landlord, moving in, then enjoying the room, etc., this means that we would also need to shot at an apartment/flat where the landlord meets the tenant, etc.

Something fun, cool and modern that would sit well within the site and speak well for the brand. I would provide design assets for the website and logo so you get an idea of style and brand image.

I don't think the video need to be longer than 1m or so. Perhaps some nice graphics would be cool to help the visuals come out a bit. I don't think voiceover would be needed, only music..

Though reference video is ok, client is looking for something that feels more real, more genuine. Also that focuses in London like the reference video, but it also focuses more in the rooms, and the process of getting the room, etc.. The reference video is ok but I am sure we can do something generally cooler and fresher..
