Project Coordinator / Manager (Interactive)

We are looking for a highly organised Project Coordinator / Manager to join us for an upcoming game title for PC and console. You will be joining a small team of ambitious creatives at our studio in Belfast as we take this new project through production development to final release.
At Blackstaff Games, we believe that great work comes from collaboration and honing your craft. As Project Coordinator / Manager you will be responsible for facilitating this ethos through your skills in planning, communication and attention to detail.
This is an 8 month fixed term contract, however there are opportunities to join us across our game, interactive and animation projects as a core member of our team. The role may suit an individual wanting to move into more producer based roles long term with support for skills training.
Responsibilities
-Ensure the successful delivery of project milestones, on time and within budget.
-Assist with scheduling and allocation of tasks and resources.
-Create and update documentation to help organize development and communicate progress.
-Identify production issues and help create actionable solutions.
-Empower team members to complete their jobs well and on schedule by helping obtain the information and resources they need.
-Coordinate with a range of external parties to support project development.
-Assist with wider company administrative tasks.
-Support a healthy and creative work environment.
Skills
-You are highly motivated and proactive.
-You have great communication skills with strong writing skills.
-You are detail and deadline oriented.
-You have a thorough understanding of the production process and the attention to detail required to deliver great products.
-You should be experienced and comfortable using various scheduling, budgeting and task tracking software.
-You have familiarity with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
-You understand the challenges of different production roles and how to manage and support them.
-You are passionate about great creative content.
-You have a drive to learn and develop your professional skill set.
Preferred
-Previous project coordination experience.
-1-2 years relevant Industry experience.
-Delivered at least 1 team-scale project.
-Desire to work across Games, Animation and Interactive projects.
