Reporting to the Production Executive, the Production Manager will work alongside the editorial team and assist the Production Executive as well as Head of Production with productions across the department. Key responsibilities will include managing production budgets and schedules in conjunction with Production Executive; line managing and providing on-the-job training to production staff; overseeing shoots and hiring/engaging freelance staff and contractors as well as negotiating deals. Additional tasks will also involve preparing budgets for programmes in development; cost tracking and reporting, purchase ordering, and completing post-production paperwork. Candidates must have previous credits as a Production Manager with experience of managing team members. Knowledge of post-production, archive and music clearance, insurance, and health & safety. Experience of satellite and fibre bookings and OB experience is desirable. PLEASE NOTE: The role will require travel to shoot / outside broadcast location, including internationally, may be necessary. Weekend work and unsocial hours at times may be necessary. This position will be based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
