Production Manager

Salford

Nine Lives Media are looking for a 4-day-a-week Production Manager to cover Maternity leave (Tuesdays off). Starting early April 2018 in Salford. Contract length minimum 3 months.
Working closely with the Producer/Directors and reporting back to the Exec and Head of Finance.

The role includes:
Working across multiple programmes with a coordinator.
Creating schedules and budgets for upcoming productions that have been commissioned and productions that are in development.
Recruit production and post production crew.
Negotiate rates of pay.
Write contracts for staff and freelancers from industry standard templates.
Arrange the rental and purchase of all production supplies, hire cars and hotels.
Oversee research of locations, sign location releases.
Liaise with local authorities and the Police regarding permits.
Negotiate contracts.
Manage budgets and schedules
Deal with any personnel problems or issues.
Ensure that everyone complies with Health and Safety regulations.
Oversee post production paperwork once production wraps.

Please only apply if you have at least 5 Production Manager credits within documentary, current affairs or factual entertainment and have good working knowledge of standard Production Manager duties.
