Job Description:
Brown Bag Films 2D Animation Studio in Manchester is recruiting for the position of Production Manager.

Working in a busy creative environment, the successful candidate will be working on a high profile 40 episode X 11 minute pre-school series for a global childrens' channel.

Key Responsibilities
-Oversees the Day to Day Management of the Project and Team
-Responsible for creating, updating and communicating the Master Schedule with the Producer. Communicates the Master Schedule to the Clients. Also responsible for the creation of breakout scenario schedule
-Communicates individual Sprint Schedules to Team Leads and Production team
-Manage assumptions of Episodes in line with individuals quotas and escalates issues to the Producer as necessary. Communicates those assumptions to team leads.
-Communicate clearly and regularly with Series Producer, Technical Director and Creative Team on the production status
-Help to plan and troubleshoot the pipeline for the production. Ensure Team adheres to the agreed workflow for the production.
-Plan with the available resources to optimise the efficiency of each department in line with the schedule
-Create and maintain a detailed weekly report for the production of the series and the individual departments
-Ensure the production team understand the goals and deadlines of each assignment and key milestone deliveries
-Recruitment shortlisting, updating Recruitment Team, Freelance communication
-Manage the weekly visual asset deliveries
-Creates the Agenda for meetings (including Weekly Producer Meetings).

Key Requirements
-Experience in managing Long Form Film and/or Animation productions
-Strong experience in scheduling and managing Production teams across multiple departments
-Excellent organisational and communication skills
-Strong troubleshooting skills
-Capable of motivating and leading teams with enthusiasm
-Comfortable in working to tight deadlines
-Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particularly Excel (required)
-Knowledge of asset tracking and data base software
