About The Role

Reporting into the Head of Production Management, the Production Manager will be responsible for all operational aspects of the productions they are assigned to; which may include voice production, cinema productions and series productions. They will be the Head of Production's main support and will work alongside the editorial team to ensure that all projects are delivered in a timely manner, and all workflows are managed effectively.

This role requires extensive proven experience of a production management specific role in a professional production environment, with at least one animated series production credit. You will understand the animation series timeline and workflows and will be able to streamline the production process to ensure flexibility and versatility as well as understanding the editorial importance. You will also be confident in the Post Production process of series animation, and ideally have some experience of localisations.

This role requires adept organisational skills, resourcefulness and the ability to handle a multitude of tasks simultaneously under often high-pressure situations. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is willing to help out within the Production team when necessary, whilst always embodying the Acamar Values.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities may include and are not limited to;
Supporting the Head of Production Management on budgeting across all productions.
Supporting the Head of Production Management on scheduling across all productions.
Creating example budgets and schedules for the CEO, Senior Director of Production and Head of Production Management to assess the potential for pitched projects to be realised.
To have a comprehensive understanding of the Post-Production deliverables process and work with the Post-Production Coordinator where necessary.
Support the Head of Production Management in monitoring costs and tracking elements of approved budgets.
Working with the Senior Director of Production, Head of Production Management and Producer, International Versions across a number of major international reversions.
Working with the internal Acamar team on all pre-production scheduling for future production projects.
Working with the internal Acamar team to help keep productions moving forward, sourcing any expertise needed along the way.
Monitor and make recommendations around the best practice for working with talent (especially our child talents), and taking covid regulations into consideration.
To ensure that all paperwork required for working with children is complete and ready for those specific recording sessions.
You may be asked to coordinate project status reports and updates.
You will be asked to work with the Production Assistants to keep records of all meetings, negotiations and project notes, as well as ensure they are filed safely within our system.
Anticipate problems and advise (or seek advice) when issues within a production arise.
Liaise with the Acamar Legal Team and Producers, Head of Production Management and Senior Director of Production on deal terms for specific projects you are on.


Essential Skills

To have previous Production Management Experience, with at least one series animation credit.
To have worked in a Production role for 5 years or more.
Experience in working with animation studios.
Experience of delivering to broadcasters

Other Skills

To have worked in some capacity in localisations of animated series.
To have experience working with child actors, child welfare policies and government guidelines.
