Production Manager

London (Feltham)

WTA Media (Perform) are looking for a Production Manager with credited experience in the industry with the ability to help run and support the production management team.

The Production Manager for WTA Media will work directly with the Senior Production Manager to set-up and plan the production requirements for 23 Host Broadcasts in 2018 and delivery of all 47 WTA tournaments across the calendar.

The PM will be responsible for the production logistics and day to day running of the production team on-site and will be in charge of tournament operational budgets and management of crew on a daily basis.

The PM will work closely with the Senior PM to feed all tournament operational costs back into the master operational budget and plan productions, set targets and make sure the output meets the standards set by the Head of the Production and Managing Director.

What will you do in your new role?
Booking crew travel, accommodation, visas and carnets (where applicable) for designated Host Broadcast & Non-Host Broadcast tournaments.
Planning the onsite setup of designated Host Broadcast tournaments alongside the Senior Production Manager, Technical Operations Manager and Media Manager, and creating call sheets for these events.
Organising production crew logistics and the day-to-day running of the production on-site.
Creating and maintaining operational cost managers for all tournaments, alongside the Senior Production Manager.
Controlling and monitoring all production spending on individual tournaments and reporting back to the Senior Production Manager.
Managing all the content cost managers and reporting back to the Senior Production Manager.
Using ScheduALL to ensure all commentators and crew are paid correctly within Perform's payment terms.
Updating risk assessments for all tournaments with the production team and making sure all WTA Media contractors are aware of the work health and safety requirements.
Managing risk assessments, permits, visas and carnet for any content shoots outside of the regular requirements of a tournament.
Reporting on progress to the Senior Production Manager and Head of Production. Helping to support the production office team when the Senior PM and HOP are on location
Extensive global travel

Key Essentials:
Excellent organisational skills
Team management skills - must show evidence of management
Understanding of Outside Broadcast Health and Safety and Risk Assessment processes
Proven record in creating and managing cost trackers
Experience in creating and managing production budgets
