Production Manager
London
Barcroft Media are looking for a Production Manager with music and archive experience to work on a feature-length hip-hop music documentary for US platform Complex Media, starting during November.
The project is largely edit based, creating a new documentary from a mixture of archive, music, previously shot material, plus some new additional interview shoots.
You must have experience of being a Production Manager within music documentaries, dealing with archive and music licensing.
The role will involve managing a team, budget management, booking facilities and editors, and also setting up shoots in the USA, including but not limited to arranging locations, permits, insurance, writing call sheets and risk assessments, booking crew, kit, travel and accommodation, and dealing with contributors and agents.
You will be used to working without supervision, managing a team on a project with multiple moving parts, and must be highly organised, a great communicator, and handling multiple requests at once.
Ideally suited to working on a part-time basis of 3-4 days per week, or whilst juggling other productions with us, the role is needed immediately to take over the project from a departing PM.
