We are looking for a Production Manager. Reporting to the Production Executive, the Production Manager will work across non-scripted labels (HitchHiker, Panda, Second Star and OMG Scotland) and production companies:

• Managing unfunded development budgets for specified labels.
• Crewing and negotiating of contracts for development staffing.
• Budgeting and managing funded development for labels, including crewing, filming and editing needs.
• Formulating the framework of schedules, staffing breakdowns and budgets for potential pilots and series for the labels to handover to the Production Executive. This could involve working closely with the development teams for each label, researching on specialist subjects and obtaining quotes from key suppliers to ensure accurate budgeting.
• Kicking off commissioned pilots and series' with staffing, contracting and general production set-up.
• Maintaining up to date availability for all Production Management roles.
• Experience using PMI is ideal but not essential.

The right candidate must have proven experience working across multi-genres (factual entertainment, entertainment and factual) programming at a Production Manager level, and have at least a basic understanding of how to formulate a schedule and budget from inception.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to understand more about the development and commissioning side of production.
