Production Manager

Leeds

The role: Production Manager

We are looking for a Production Manager to join our rapidly expanding Stars Creative team, based in our Leeds service office.

Are you our next super star?

We are building a new Marketing Centre of Excellence in Leeds and we're looking for individuals with big ideas and the ability to think creatively and outside of the box. You will become part of a company that gives you everything you need to create winning moments to push your own boundaries and build the best experience for our millions of players around the world.

So, who are we? We're home to some of the biggest, most exciting brands in the online gaming industry, with offices, events and players all over the world. We're the ultimate owner of such brands as PokerStars, PokerStars Casino, BetStars, Full Tilt, Sky Bet, Sky Vegas, Sky Casino, Sky Bingo, Sky Poker and BetEasy, as well as live poker tour and event brands.

Why we need you: -

We are an in-house creative agency producing global and local branded content, including long form programming, live streams and short form social content, for the Stars Group's main verticals (Poker, Casino and Sports) across TV and digital platforms.

Reporting to our Production Executive, your role will be to production manage all departmental output, including AFPs, live streaming, ENG shoots, podcasts, webisodes, VOD content, documentaries, integrations, regional productions, social media content and promotional videos. You will specialise in managing large outside broadcasts and oversee the Group's approved production budgets: negotiating supplier rates, payments, liaising with FP&A and ensuring productions remain within forecast. You'll oversee much of the production paperwork, including call sheets, risk assessments, NDAs and supplier contracts. You will work to manage each production to ensure output meets the Group's and/or broadcast standards.

As part of your role you will oversee a variety of production companies and suppliers with varying levels of experience and understanding of poker programming. You will become the main point of contact for social media projects and productions, organising filming permits, equipment hire and archive footage. You will also take responsibility for end to end production logistics, including staffing, booking travel, ascertaining technical requirements, co-ordinating shoots, managing talent, supervising on-location shoots, scheduling, booking edits and programme delivery.

Please note worldwide travel will be required with this role and work outside of normal office hours.

Who are we looking for: -

An experienced Production Manager, used to working on live and post produced sports programming. You will need strong process, organisational and business skills, as well as excellent communication skills to manage relationships with internal and external clients and suppliers.

You should be proactive, and a natural problem-solver, used to working well with large groups and managing people. Cost reporting and invoice processing experience, is essential.

What's in it for you?

The salary for this job is based on experience, so whilst we are not able to go into detail at this stage, we can say that we offer great salary packages and a discretionary annual performance bonus. We can also provide advice and dedicated assistance to those moving to Leeds.

We offer health and dental insurance for you, your partner and your children (if you all live at the same address). You can make the most of our personal interest allowance in order to learn something new or pursue a hobby. If you have a baby whilst you work for us, we will give you 1000 GBP as congratulations.

In addition to that, we provide the opportunity for a discounted gym membership.

Our in-house training and development team deliver fantastic support in terms of developing your skills and helping you progress your career.

What happens next?

We will aim to get back to you as soon as possible. If you meet the criteria, then we'll invite you to a phone interview and if that goes well we'll meet you for a face-to-face interview.
