Production ManagerHammersmithFixed termFull TimeAre you looking to take the next step in production?Would you enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative creative team?Do you have great team leadership skills and a positive 'can-do' attitude?If the answer to the above is a resounding "yes", then read on...What will you be doing?The Production Manager oversees day-to-day production for a creative brand and team, and manages creative projects and productions.The Creative team is responsible for the development and execution of a range of content for A+E Networks UK. The team devise and deliver all the on-air and off-air campaigns, short form, branding and promos for History, Sky History, History 2, Lifetime, Crime+Investigation and free-to-air channel BLAZE.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day creative production and delivery for a brand and team.Oversee resourcing and allocation of creative projects.Supervise the production co-ordinators in the management of creative projects.Act as the key point of contact and escalation for day to day production.Production manage creative projects and productions, as directed.Support Producers in the management of creative campaigns, across media.Coordinate or manage shoots (scale dependent); negotiate and manage suppliers, plan and arrange resources, produce production paperwork and adhere to Health & Safety procedures.Cost, manage and maintain production budgets, raise POs and reconcile costs.Maintain production trackers, follow production workflows and processes.Troubleshoot production workflows and systems and continually look for improvements.Cover Production Coordinators during absence.Person SpecificationYou will have :Experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects and materials to deadlines.Experience of working as a Production Coordinator or above within a broadcast production environment, including experience of organizing shoots.Strong knowledge of broadcast production and creative workflows, and experience of delivering materials in multiple formats.Excellent administration, time management and organizational skills.Experience in planning and arranging resources and preparing schedules and timelines.Experience in costing, managing and maintaining budgets.Excellent communication skills, able to build positive and collaborative working relationships with a range of colleagues and stakeholders.Experience working as part of a team, supervising, supporting and developing others.As a person you will be :Highly organized and able to prioritize work effectively and multi-task.A strong negotiator, able to persuade and influence others.A strong team player, able to build excellent working relationships with others.Proactive and diplomatic, able to relate to others in a confident and calm manner.Able to rise to challenge and own problems through to conclusion.Accurate and calm under pressure and able to respond positively to last minute changes.Enthusiastic, motivated and conscientious.Skilled in a range of software packages, with an aptitude to learn new software.
