The Production Manager, reporting to the Studio Lead Programmer, is a vital Role at Build A Rocket Boy Games Ltd. This position is a key point person for all project management activities related to the Edinburgh code team.

Responsibilities:

Act as central point of contact and information for the Edinburgh code team.
Triage new bugs and tasks as they come in. Clarify requirements and priorities seeking technical support where required.
Build successful working relationships with all disciplinary leads to inform, optimize workflows, assign tasks, schedule priorities and track progress.
Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals and to maximize output.
Develop, maintain and coordinate high level plans and detailed schedules for the code team in Edinburgh.
Reduce any external distractions from the development team to speed up development.
Any other reasonable task to aid general development.

Requirements:

Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
Strong interpersonal communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Previous games industry experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (especially Word & Excel).
Proactive approach and strong sense of personal motivation.
Proven history of successful Project Management within the software industry.
Ability to work well under pressure with impeccable personal time management and prioritisation skill.
Prioritise and communicate tasks clearly to both the development team and any and all stakeholders as required.
Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA desired.
A computing related degree or previous software engineering experience a plus.
