Production Manager (Royal & Ancient)

IMG is the largest independent sports production company in the world, and is looking for a Production Manager to help manage a key client project. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who wants a chance to work on a high-profile production with a great deal of autonomy.
Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, the Production Manager will work closely with the Producer and Executive Producer in managing all production requirements ensuring all productions are delivered on time and on budget.
The Production Manager will have responsibility for: managing budgets and cost reporting; hiring freelance staff and contractors as necessary, negotiating deals with suppliers; coordinating all content delivery; supervising a small team of junior staff; ensuring all productions are billed in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be required to maintain relationships with key outside clients and suppliers, as well as ensuring the production follows health and safety guidelines.
They will be part of a team putting an emphasis on creativity and high production standards in all projects they work on, but with a strong emphasis on teamwork and a friendly/collaborative atmosphere. The successful candidate will look after a range of different programming including short form promotional content, onsite highlight productions and the documentary series 'Chronicles of a Champion Golfer', and other projects within the scope of the job.
Experience of creating and managing comprehensive production budgets is essential as is knowledge of post-production technologies and workflows, archive and music clearances, insurance and health and safety - including risk assessments. Candidates must be able to deal with multiple projects and clients at the same time and have experience of working closely with clients and broadcasters.
