In the past year alone, four of our Production Journalists have been promoted as a result of the experience they gained and talent they developed in our newsroom. Two are now On-Screen journalists, one a Presenter and one a Content Editor.

We're now looking for another first-class Production Journalist and proven story-finder to join our team. You will be based in our Bristol newsroom and will be involved in every aspect of television and online news production, from producing bulletins in the gallery to creating must watch digital content.
You will be a qualified and self-motivated journalist with a good track record of coming-up with news stories and ideas, preferably with experience of working within a busy news environment. You will need to be able to cope with a heavy workload, meet frequent tight deadlines and work calmly under pressure.

As a qualified journalist, you'll have first class written and verbal communications skills and be able to develop good working relationships with colleagues and external contacts. You will also demonstrate good editorial judgement and use your social media skills for newsgathering and analysis.
