We have an opportunity for a Production/Edit Assistant with bags of enthusiasm and willingness to learn, to join our highly skilled team in ITV's Manchester Entertainment department.

The role is a mixture of creative editing and production assisting. Working alongside editors and edit-producers to deliver promos, pre-title teases and various short clips needed for a variety of platforms.

You may also carry out duties, which involve finalising technical aspects such as correcting faulty footage, grading and colouring, and adding special effects.

You'll need to be proficient in using AVID and Boris Effects and able to produce broadcast quality material, both in vision and audio.

There will be in-house training but a familiarity with file based media and tapeless workflows would be beneficial.

To be considered for this opportunity, we will require an example of your work in the form of a show reel.

You will also need to demonstrate the following skills:

Contract length is 6 months starting 14 August 2017.
Closing date is 30 June 2017. Interviews will take place week commencing 3 July and there will be an assessment which will take place during week commencing 10 July.
