Do you have production coordination experience and can develop a production from concept to finished product? Do you also have an interest in / knowledge of cycling? As Production Coordinator & Self Shooter, you will be responsible for all the organisational, scheduling and administrative aspects of a weekly show's production from pre to post production, including the management of the shoot in the studio and on location. You will work with our weekly features team across all of Play Sports Network's (PSN) commercial, editorial, digital promotions and multimedia campaigns. You will also assist the PSN Producers, Content Managers and Filmmakers to determine the weekly shows' creative vision, financials, and logistics. This will include preparing and updating production schedules or script breakdowns to ensure that sufficient time has been allocated for the production process, and checking the budget and schedule.The position is based in our Bath office in the UK, but may require you to travel to shoot locations in the UK and abroad. You must have a full UK drivers license and the right to work in the UK and EU. RESPONSIBILITIES * Planning, researching and scheduling multiple shoots with a planning cycle * Researching and developing production features * Managing more complex shoots on location * Drawing up a production schedule * Negotiating costs with suppliers * Hiring crew and contractors * Approving bookings of resources, locations, equipment and supplies * Arranging permissions and risk assessments * Influencing team members, filmmakers and other contributors to the weekly features to keep the weekly shows running on time * Working with the Producer and senior production staff to deliver weekly shows * Represent the company on location shoots, and develop rapport with locals and businesses where requiredSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Excellent organisational skills * Experience of the technical processes involved in video production, including camera, lighting, sound and editing * Experience of obtaining licences and clearances for production * Know how to access information about, and comply with, corresponding regulations and agreements in other countries * Be able to work effectively, and with diplomacy and sensitivity, with all members of the production team, with presenters, other contributors, and members of the public * Influencing skills * Experience in online video content is desirable, but not essentialKNOWLEDGE REQUIRED * Up-to-date working knowledge of relevant UK union and/or broadcaster regulations and agreements, e.g. Pact/Equity, Pact/Musicians Union, Pact/BECTU * Knowledge of cycling and the cycling racing calendar * Understanding of weekly shows/ features and their commercial value in a production business would be beneficial
