Production Coordinator

Key Purpose of the Job:
The Production Coordinator is central to managing the schedule, liaising with all aspects of production, helping with strategizing and implementing tasks and targets crucial to the delivery of the project as well as ensuring the project remains on time and on budget.
Job description:
Closely working with the Producer, Supervisor and Leads to manage the artists, meeting internal and external deadlines
Responsible for organising dailies rounds and client reviews, taking notes and following up on information as necessary
Organising and setting up media for CineSync sessions or Skype calls
Take detailed, comprehensive notes and review with Lead after dailies / rounds
Maintain accurate summary of progress from previous day's work by artists
Daily updates of production database with notes and necessary information
Manage and maintain the production schedule
Communicate information quickly and succinctly to crew and other departments to resolve problems quickly
Organise and coordinate client deliveries
Knowledge of production databases (including Shotgun), FTP software, Aspera or alternative data management formats preferred but not essential

Required skills & experience:
Previous experience as Production Coordinator or Production Assistant in a Previs or VFX environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word)
Highly organised with excellent time management and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with impeccable attention to detail
In-depth understanding of the production workflow, common file formats and resolutions
Team orientated and able to take direction from Supervisors and Producers
Adaptable and flexible - accepting of changes
