It's the show where two teams face each other in a mischievous mix of tongue-in-cheek comedy, off-the-wall questions and slapstick challenges in this school-based panel show. Our content seeks to entertain, inform and empower children, adding real value to their livesWe are looking for an experienced Production Co-ordinator to work on this CBBC series. The PC will work to the Production Manager to deliver this fun-packed, physical series for our diverse audience. Please note that the studio records will involve working weekends (possibly throughout September)Role ResponsibilityThe PC will work in partnership with the Production Manager and will contribute to the scheduling and budgeting of the production/content in line with divisional requirements and relevant BBC frameworks, guidelines and policies.You will assist the Production Manager (or equivalent) in identifying and sourcing appropriate resource and location requirements for the production at the earliest possible stage. You will ensure compliance with BBC policies, guidelines, legislative and regulatory requirements, in order to minimise the BBC's exposure to risk. You will prepare (or contribute to the preparation of), manage and monitor production budgets including forecasting and reporting, where required.Maintains a safe and healthy working environment at all times, escalating any issues or areas of concern.Contributing to, and helping to implement, practical actions to reduce environmental impact throughout production.Are you the right candidate?You will be an experienced Production Co-ordinator who has worked in a studio. You should be able to demonstrate a passion for the Childrens Department and CBBC.Demonstrates strong organisational and planning skills and manages conflicting demands to meet deadlines.Knowledge of Silvermouse.Able to consider and propose new ways of working to improve existing processes.Essential business and finance skills - able to prepare, manage, set and/or monitor specific production resource plans and budgets and buying/booking resources. A knowledge of delivering a range of/elements of productions on time and on budget and coordinating deliverables for productions, where necessary. Good working knowledge of end-to-end multi-platform production with an understanding of the technology used on productions.Good communication skills sufficient to establish and maintain effective relations with a wide range of contacts
