Production Coordinator / Researcher

London

Hello, we are Ink Studios.

We are an all-purpose creative agency specialising in travel, culture, and lifestyle. We go to spectacular places to tell unforgettable stories about amazing people. From global campaigns with Booking.com, travel content for the biggest airlines in the world, to programming for reachtv, America's largest in-airport tv network.

We like to work with people who are full of authentic ideas, always with an eye on what's new, as well as upcoming trends. We push ourselves and only want to work with likeminded creatives, who believe that hard work and fun can go hand in hand. People who inspire and see things differently.

THE ROLE

We're currently looking for a hybrid role of a Production Co-ordinator / Researcher to join the family, to help us in creating more award-winning content and programming. From our thumb stopping social media content, global campaign, to our studio television formats. This role is perfect for someone who is keen to learn quickly, grow their skillsets and be part of an ever-growing team.

This is an opportunity to work across all our productions in a key role, which will require someone who is multi-skilled and interested in not being pigeon-holed into one specific part of production but will be working across lots of touchpoints. It's also a chance for someone who is less experienced, to gain first-hand experience in lots of disciplines, and who will grow to become an integral part of the team.

Parts of the role will include working on the production of shoots, such as researching locations, clearing and setting us shoots, creating call sheets and assisting the Production Manager on all production and post-production paperwork. Assisting on shoots in our studio, and potentially on location from time to time, and researching UGC and social media elements for our shows will also be required. Researching locations for filming, including finding hidden gems in locations all around the world, as well as finding interesting characters and casting potential presenters and contributors. There may also be some time programming our television formats into our network, delivering assets and liaising with clients.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, personable, and diligent. You must have an interest in creating entertaining and fun content and have an enthusiasm for working within a team. You must be meticulous with your planning and organisation, able to schedule, and co-ordinate shoots, and feel confident and comfortable liaising with crew, clients, or productions.

We want someone who is a self-starter, with bags full of energy to bring to the team. As part of a small team, we would love for you to be confident in offering ideas, unafraid to challenge your teammates to go the extra mile - be enthusiastic, considerate, resourceful, and resilient always.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidates will have
- Minimum 2 years' experience in production. Ideally with some experience already as a Researcher or Production Sec/Co-ordinator, but not mandatory.
- Be extremely well organised and a proactive planner.
- Be a great researcher; tenacious and interested in finding those difficult to find locations, stories or pieces of information needed.
- Have a keen interest in creating entertaining content and telling stories.
- Be comfortable articulating your ideas and interpreting feedback.
- Be able to work well within a team.
- Always be on the lookout for new trends, looks, techniques to implement into yours and the team's collective work.
- Have an eye for detail.
- Be keen to learn, improve and push yourself to develop.
- Casting experience is a bonus.
