ROLE SUMMARYWe make on average 70 films per annum. These comprise of long form infomercials, in-store films and TVCs. Your role is to work alongside our Producer / Directors to organise the filming of our products. This involves working to budgets, sourcing props, models, testimonials and locations, assisting in designing sets, sending out call sheets and ensuring props and food are available and organised for shoots.You will report to the Deputy Head of Production, however on specific shoots you will be reporting directly to the Producer responsible for the shoot.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Sourcing & buying props/wardrobeKeeping the props containers organizedSourcing locations, models & testimonialsSending out products to testimonialsProduction research & bookings- locations, models etc.Testing JML products for shootsOrganizing castings / recces Coming up with & testing demo ideasSending out call sheetsAssisting on all shoot days with logging, set dressing, prop organizing, handling release forms & general running responsibilitiesAssisting the Broadcast Compliance Officer with the approval process of 3rd party film approvals, from the initial submission to the final deliveryCatering for the crew AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCEThe ideal candidate will be degree educated and possess a strong interest in Media, Film & TV or have a production background and want to develop within the production environment. A full UK Driver's license is a must as the role involves driving.You will need to demonstrate logical thinking and organisation to assist with Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production for Direct and Retail shoots. Good communication and inter-personal skills are a must - you will be working closely with others to make sure each element of the process works. You will therefore need to be very friendly and chatty with presenters and hosts, making them feel comfortable and welcome.Organisation and flexibility is the key to this job role. You will help arrange and attend shoots on location including studios in and around London. It is essential that you are able to stay calm under pressure and be able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following competences:- • A "can do" attitude• Prioritises workload without constant supervision• A multi-tasker able to handle many projects at the same time• Possess a high level of initiative• Flexibility as shoots & some tasks may run over standard office hours• Personal qualities - enthusiasm, motivation - a bubbly personality• Interpersonal skills - the ability to get on with everyone at all levels • A team player with a willingness to take on responsibility• A passion for selling our products & an interest in DRTV• Health & safety aware• Possess good business writing skills & follow up on projects• Some negotiation skills & obtaining good value for money
