Media company start up seeking a creative production assistant. Although well capitalized, the business is still a startup, which involves an uncertain future for everyone involved.

We are looking for a competent individual to support all aspects of the company, from story development for different projects, to assisting the film productions. The duties and responsibilities will also include providing administrative support to the company principal to ensure efficient operation of the office and to support the company principal through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.

The ability to effectively communicate via phone, text, and email clearly is required. The person in this position will also be responsible for directing the work of outside researchers, writers, editors, producers, crew members, etc. Reliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

The successful candidate will be a team player with great communication skills and able to multi-task and problem-solving effectively. Relevant Film or production training with degree or certificate (e.g. production courses) will be an advantage.

Job will be part-time to start, with the opportunity to become full-time with benefits.
