Production Assistant

London

JOB PURPOSE

Perform wish to appoint a Production Assistant with 1-2 years' experience to work with FIBA Media Production Management as the team prepares for the FIBA Basketball World Cup in September 2019.
Flexibility will be required as it may be necessary to work some unsocial hours and weekends from time to time. A passion for sports and Basketball in particular would be an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with the Production Manager across all FIBA events such as the World Cup Qualifiers, FIBA's continental tournaments across Africa, America, Asia and Europe and the Basketball Champions League, a European club competition contested over 6 months. With other National events there are approx. 500 games per year.
Assist the production management team with other adhoc production for the editorial and digital marketing teams who produce a variety of projects for broadcast and digital clients around the world.
Manage all production logistics and coordination for the projects mentioned above including floats, travel, crew bookings, call sheets and risk assessments.
Book all FIBA Media team travel to and from location and arrange all logistics for conferences and meetings. Act as a PA for the COO and MD when required.
Coordinate ENG shoots: source crew, book travel, order and reconcile floats and provide briefs and all production documentation required to crew and suppliers.
Assist the Production Managers with the tracking of costs for each event using existing finance trackers.
Coordinate facilities, staff and freelancer rotas with the Post Production Team
Limited travel onsite to outside broadcasts and shoots may be necessary throughout the year.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Experience of working on ENG shoots and post production environments.
Knowledge of a production resource tool such as ScheduALL would be an advantage

PERSONAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Excellent communicator at all levels, working well as part of a team and independently
Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Resourcefulness, flexibility & troubleshooting skills
Able to work under pressure
Must be pro-active and possess a meticulous attention to detail
Flexibility with working hours when required
