WING - JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Production Assistant
Main Purpose of Job: To provide admin and production assistance to the Company Director, Producers, Production Manager and Accounts team.
Reports To Production Manager
Salary £21,000 - £24,000 dependant on experience
Hours of Work Normal Business Hours (9am to 6pm)
Full flexibility is required. There will likely be weekend work on an ad-hoc basis and some international travel if a shoot dictates.

WING are looking for a calm and efficient multitasker, who will thrive in the busy but friendly environment at WING and have an impressive sense of initiative. You will be a vital cog in a fast-paced team creating content for the largest global brands. We're looking for someone with a keen attention to detail, who is willing to go the extra mile, has a 'can-do' attitude and is willing to take on a challenge. There are moments of high intensity but this is a role that is incredibly rewarding.

The candidate should have a minimum of 12 months experience in the industry and the desire to progress to the Production Coordinator role in the coming years. Please explain in your covering letter why you think you'd be well-suited to this role and what you could bring to WING.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
§ Assisting in the setting up of camera shoots, booking freelancers, equipment, locations, travel and accommodation (sourcing props, arranging casting, catering and crew travel visas if needed)
§ Assisitng with production paperwork, including call sheets and carnets, and maintaining records on the company server
§ Managing the Director's diary, scheduling all meetings and keeping office calendar updated at all times
§ Managing the Director's timesheets on a daily basis
§ Key point of contact taking all phone calls in the office answering the door and greeting clients, and as such maintaining a professional manner at all times
§ Assisting the Creative team with image research for creative decks
§ A keen interest in Social Media and keeping WING's various Social Media accounts up to date with a
willingness and the initiative to grow our social audience and social interaction
§ Work with the Production Manager to ensure that health and safety and insurance requirements of shoots are met, including assisting in writing Risk Assessments
§ Collating and approving shoot expenses, liaising with Accounts on invoicing, and keeping records of all expenses and receipts
§ Compiling and completing any post-production paperwork - booking editors, grades as required and hecking and approving freelancers' invoice
§ Maintaining company contacts database - freelancers and clients
§ Assisting in negotiating best rate for WING with company suppliers
§ Providing administrative assistance to the Production Manager, Producer/Senior Producer and Accounts as required
§ Booking of cabs/couriers and keeping records in company log books
§ Collating and filing of all company credit card receipts on a monthly basis
§ Running errands - post office, prop and costume shopping
§ Accompany the team on shoots, coordinating crew on-site, helping to manage the shoot schedule and making sure clients' and crews' needs are met§ You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job

§ Travel to shoots may be required, UK and beyond
§ Unsociable hours / weekend work may be required

Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Abilities
Mandatory
§ An excellent command of the English language, numeric skills and computer literacy
§ Previous experience of working in a busy production office or media environment and handlingproduction paperwork
§ Initiative with a 'can-do' attitude and proactive approach
§ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
§ Ability to react quickly and calmly when under pressure
§ Excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills
§ Excellent ability to use Microsoft Office products - primarily Word and Excel

Desirable
§ Previous experience as Production Secretary/ Production Assistant
§ 12 months industry experience
§ Knowledge of Apple Mac computers
