Production Assistant
London
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Catsnake team as a Production Assistant.
--- The Job ----
The role is full-time, typically Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm, although may shift around based on shoots and other productions. We are based in Somerset House, London.
The role is paid at £15,600 per year, paid monthly. Most of the people who have joined the company in the past have moved up the ranks and so we hope that in the fullness of time the responsibilities and wage will grow.
The ideal candidate will be available to start Tuesday 18th June but we are willing to work around notice periods for the right applicant.
Our ideal candidate enjoys the production side of filmmaking as well as managing general office duties and wants to build a career in a related field (i.e. film, television, online video, advertising, etc).
The duties of the role will include:
• Co-ordinating film shoots
• Hiring cast and crew
• Scheduling meetings & brainstorms
• Client & office management
• Helping to prepare pitches and documents
• General administrative and office support
In the email/cover letter, please explain (in fewer than 600 words) why we should hire you and please attach a CV (no longer than two pages). Please do not include links to show reels of work you have directed, shot, scored or starred in, as this is not relevant to the job.
Please make it clear which of the aspects of the job you have experience and knowledge within, and which you do not. We know that our ideal candidate may not tick every single box, and actively support training and skills growth among employees.
Deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 10th June 2019. Applications received after this point cannot be considered.
Please do not call the office or contact us via social media. We often receive a large number of enquiries and it can be disruptive to our work. All the information you need is in this document and online.
