We're looking to recruit a new member of the team for the The Edge's Doha, Qatar office. The role would be suitable for someone with 1-2 years' experience or a recent media graduate. The candidate needs to already be based in Qatar and hold the necessary permits to work.

We produce a variety of films, with varying budgets and levels of complexity. Due to the diversity of our projects we are seeking someone who is willing to learn and be prepared to put in the hard work and sometimes long hours that it takes to progress to a production manager and eventually producer.

Training will be given in:

- Production scheduling
- Budgeting
- Tracking external spend
- Raising PO's
- Reconciliation
- Managing and tracking internal resourcing
- Negotiating with and hiring crew, contractors and suppliers
- Sourcing locations
- Organising permits
- Negotiating rates
- Sourcing actors and running casting sessions
- Location risk assessments and relevant Health and safety and insurance issues
- Producing Call Sheets
- Arranging flights and accommodation
- Attending the shoot
- Booking and managing the post-production
- Ensuring the project is successfully delivered to the client
