We have a great opportunity for an experienced Production Accountant to join Shiver whereby you will be responsible for providing comprehensive finance support to both the production management community, and the Head of Finance for Shiver.

You will be responsible for providing accounting support to Shiver production teams and the day to day responsibilities will include:

Production Accountant in our Shiver and other adhoc commissions

Managing the cost reporting process, staff cost recharges and project closure and creditor process

Provide general financial support to the Head of Finance as appropriate

Develop and maintain the financial control and reporting systems necessary to maintain budgetary control over a production and provide financial reporting to the production team

Liaise between production teams, finance teams and the Business Service Centre to ensure an accurate and efficient flow of transactional information, and prompt and accurate payments of staff and suppliers in accordance with contractual obligations.

Critically analyse production budgets and suggest and implement cost control measures where appropriate

As the successful candidate you will have demonstrable production accounting experience, managing budgets for large scale productions and managing multiple productions in conjunction with each other.

You must have strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to deliver high quality work to tight timetables as well as the confidence to support a large production team and build positive professional working relationships with production staff, finance staff and key stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail is key as is the ability to cope with a busy working environment You will have strong technical and analytical skills with a track record of identifying issues and delivering solutions whilst effectively driving down costs.
