Production / Project Manager

London

Building on our existing success in 2018, Flux Broadcast are now looking to grow and expand our team. Focusing on the production and projects side of the business.

With regular work with brands such as Topshop, Xbox, The BBC, Universal Music and Warner, we've also won awards for our work such as the Shorty Awards for Social Good and Cannes Lions with McCann. We are looking to take 2019 to a new level.

The Role

Responsibilities

- Work with our high profile clients to get briefs and plan for the successful execution of both live and on-demand projects from start to finish
- Ensure all deliverables from the client are met to Flux's high standards before the project close out
- Working with the sales team to ensure seamless transition from sales to project execution
- Working with the engineering team, alongside utilising the applicants own knowledge to ensure the correct technical solution is put forward for successful execution
- Build good relationships with clients, suppliers, freelancers and hire houses
- Book suppliers, freelance crew and kit for jobs
- Liaise with freelancers, hire houses and suppliers to ensure everything is in place for projects
- Use Flux's project sheets to ensure successful planning and execution of projects
- Create call sheets, RAMS documents and production schedules as required
- Budgeting

Required skills and experience

Experience with video production
Good technical knowledge
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
Excellent ability to manage people across multiple crews
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Resilient under pressure and ability to think on feet
Ability to learn quickly
Professional manner and proud of their work

Desirable skills and experience

Experience managing projects for high profile clients
Experience in production coordinating or similar role
Experience managing budgets
Experience working in a live / high pressure environment
Good computer skills
Understanding of vision mixing and live video production
Understanding of cameras: exposure / white balance / output formats
Experience with live video platforms Facebook / YouTube / Periscope / Twitch

Other requirements:

Passport to allow international travel for work
Full UK driving license

Training provided:

Production gallery set up including: vision mixers, format convertors, comms, external recorders, scopes and monitoring
Camera set up
Vision mixing and directing
Live streaming: encoders / video compression
Content Delivery Networks
Server architecture
Project management

Hours: Office 10-6 Monday - Friday, work outside of these hours will be required on events. Time in lieu for weekend work and flexible hours for late night/evening work.

Holiday: 28 working days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays.

Annual Salary: £30,000-35,000 depending on experience
