Producer/Director

London

Alaska TV are looking for very experienced PDs to work on a 8 x 60" factual modern history/ docu drama series based in the world of espionage. It's very important the applicants have a proven track record in this genre.
PDs will each be across 2 or 3 of the shows (working closely with an AP) and will be responsible for research, scripting, filming interviews across the world, re-construction and editing their own shows (applicants will need to have extensive experience in all of these disciplines). Whilst most of the series will use cameramen the PD will be expected to film a certain amount themselves, so experience with FS7/ C300 essential.
The series will combine high-end re-construction, archive, interview and links. The PDs will not be across the main re-construction but will need to film some smaller scale scenes, so proven experience in re-con is a big advantage.
Staggered start dates from early/mid November for approx. 20 weeks.
