Producer

We are searching for a creative Producer with a passion for music and music-based content to join our Original Content and Production team in London. Reporting to the Executive Producer - EU, you will play a vital role in the in the creative direction and success of the Original Content and Production team's slate of content offerings including artist promo, live production, and documentary short-form formats. This role will collaborate with both internal social, design, and marketing teams as well as external record labels, artist management, and others.
As a Producer for Original Content, this role will be responsible for creative concept, pitch, treatment development, shoot logistics and producing of a variety of shoots. The person in this role will work closely with the Executive Producer - EU to make sure all our artist promotional content is the best in the industry.
The right candidate for this role will be required to pitch format and content ideas as well as lead on the creative direction and execution of both new and established formats. They will be required to work closely with our music and talent teams to produce creative treatments in response to booking opportunities as well as speculatively pitch creative ideas to artist teams. They will also be responsible for quality controlling and producing our EU productions, working alongside local production companies.
As a member of our team, you will
* Help overall Original Content team in the ideation, pitching and development of stories that fit Vevo's editorial agenda, both our recurring formats and bespoke content.
* Work closely with our in-house senior producer to deliver strong and innovative campaigns where every aspect of production is carefully planned so that filming and editing schedules ensure maximum productivity and programmes come in on budget.
* Manage all aspects of production, including budgets, contracts, releases, clearances, delivery, and programming.
* Work with third party production companies on any larger projects. You'll also help to manage those relationships.
* Contribute creative as part of overall Vevo content team - including for Branded Content and Live Events - as needed.
* Track and oversee all booking requests with the Music & Talent team.
* Oversee post-production schedule on the projects you are working on.
* Ability to work with teams from multiple EU territories sometimes working with teams who speak different native languages.
* Work closely with artists, ensuring they are properly briefed, and involving them in the creative process.
* Work closely with artist and label teams and maintain good working relationships during shoots.

* You're familiar with camera equipment and other production specs.
* You have experience of reconciling artistic aspiration with financial constraint, of planning and revising production budgets and schedules and delivering content on time and to budget.
* You have proven qualities of adaptability and flexibility in coping with rapidly changing circumstances and ability to prioritise and exercise excellent editorial judgement as circumstances change.
* You have the ability to generate creative ideas and to think strategically about new ideas and an innovative approach content making.
* You have a solid and broad understanding of the contemporary music landscape.
* You vocalise thoughts and suggestions and constructively shape the conversation.
* You understand social media strategies, working hand-in-hand with social teams to deliver reactive engaging content.
* You have the ability to craft a treatment that speaks to a creative narrative.
* You manage your time efficiently across multiple fast-moving projects.
* You are a great listener - onboarding everything you hear from various teams to shape the input into successful work.
* You know how to understand your audience with idea generation and strong research skills.
* You are happy to work on shoots both in the UK and European Territories and are happy to travel for work.
Requirements
* 3+ years proven experience working as a creative content producer.
* Experience with managing a production, from start to finish.
* History of creating creative content treatments with examples to show.
* Proven history running complex shoots.
* Strong communication & time management skills.
* You have excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.
* Experience of working on shoots abroad with crews who speak English as a second language.
* Fluent or Conversational French, Italian, Spanish, German or Polish would be a bonus.
