We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sports producer / features director to work on the company's live sport output from our Glasgow office. Our Scottish output includes SPFL league and cup football, women's domestic and international football, women's six nations rugby, shinty & curling. To produce live and other productions and direct feature material for inclusion in all the company's productions.

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the below:

- To develop, produce and direct as required on all and any content in all genres (but in particular, sport) being devised, created or distributed by and to the satisfaction of Nemeton Scotland.
- You will be willing to contribute to and engage in all the editorial and business objectives and priorities of the company, including the creation of new business opportunities; and it is a condition of employment that you acknowledge receipt of the mission, aims and values of the company
- You will originate and develop programme ideas, increase and maintain key contacts within the Gaelic community and in the sports industry, in Scotland and abroad.
- You will carry out in-depth research to a broad brief with minimal supervision and assess its value to multi-media content production, and you will be expected to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- You will undertake such multi-camera Outside Broadcast Event Production (both recorded and live), and single Camera Directing on location, as may be required of you.
- You will write material for programme scripts and links, exercising editorial judgement, maintaining professional journalistic standards and adhering to policy, legal and contractual guidelines
- You will provide briefings for presenters, reporters, camera crews, and other resource staff and contributors as is necessary for efficient operations, and you will direct and produce live and pre-recorded programmes and broadcast packages as required.
- You will operate such broadcast equipment as is required of you by the company in both camera and edit operations.
- You will secure your best efforts to extend and develop your knowledge of the Gaelic language and culture, including an active involvement in the company's Gaelic Language Plan.
- You will be required to carry out other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager, including Floor Manager given your experience.
